yes, you are missing somethings......but i've not much time.

i don't think it's as simple as "get rid of all religions" ....yes, they are toxic in their mainstream social / political guises - but get rid of them = more aetheism = more people like Ray Kuzweil coming more to the fore.

Also, without religion there would be no sufism, hermeticism, tantra, esotericism, paganism, astrology, or shamanism < and all these sub-branches of religions hold some deep truths and wisdom imo........the aetheist looks at these and laughs, when 99 times out of 100 with no study or experience of any of them.
