Even if our fans were quiet for the game, the Ipswich fans would barely pipe up - they have been pretty quiet the last 2 visits anyway.

If they brought a banner on the other hand......

Big game. 1700 + adds to this.

Home tickets should go well with our recent run , should hit 28k for 3rd time this season

Can't wait

also worth adding that Ipswich are almost win or bust time so have to have a go. Could suit us (if they dont score first)

did anyone ever explain the point they were trying to get across with that banner? I remember a lot of their fans denounced it, but cant't remember if anyone ever explained the reasoning behind it...?

Ill informed muppets.

We won't forget that in a hurry, especially as Ipswich aren't exactly a model of financial probity. When was the last time that the elusive Marcus Evans sat down with their fans to explain their finances?

I wonder what banner they produce at QPR, Forest and Leicester?

Good to see that at least some of their fans still find the banner embarrassing and doubly so because Marcus Evans isn't exactly transparent about their own dodgy finances. Ooops.

I seem to recall that a handful of ill informed Tractor persons assumed that American Express had bank rolled the building of the Amex rather than just being our corporate and kit sponsors - for which we are very appreciative, but nowhere on the scale they were suggesting.

Plus they were ignorant of the fact that American Express have a long association with Brighton having had its European HQ here for 30 years and being one of the areas largest employers, so we hadn't just prostituted ourselves to some faceless foreign financial monolith........

Ah that banner really made no sense what-so-ever. Why pick on us anyway? Did Forest/Watford/QPR get the banner as well?
