Just a heads up about a special screening in Brighton this week.

Breaking The Taboo is a critically acclaimed documentary about the War on Drugs. It's narrated by Morgan Freeman, and features contributions from former world leaders, including Bill Clinton and Jimmy Carter.
The screening is this Thursday, and there will also be a Q and A afterwards - including executive producer Sam Branson and MP Caroline Lucas

Wow, the US stuff comes as no real surprise, we all know it's just pouring money into a black hole.

Drug deaths in Portugal have decreased after decrimnalisation? Wow

The "War On Drugs" is just a sick, sick joke.

Looks interesting.

At the end of the day the governments don't mind you taking drugs as long as they are bought from the global pharmaceutical companies.

People have just as much a problem getting addicted to prescription drugs and it's a multibillion dollar industry. They will hand out the next wonder drug with or without knowing the full side effects. It’s all a massive con.

Just watched the film, it is pitched absolutely perfectly. Wanting to stop the war on drugs from a moral and financial standpoint is not the same as wanting people to take drugs. Clinton says it best when he says the War on Drugs is fought in the hearts and minds of individuals.

What I don't think we see in the West is the untold misery this war has caused in producer countries. That should no and can not be laid at the drug takers door.

The policy implemented in Portugal was absolutely amazing.

Inspiring stuff.
