He told seagulls.co.uk, “It was probably one of the best braces I have scored.
“We knew it would be a tough game because they had been on a good run, so to get on scoresheet and keep in the hunt for a play-off place is brilliant.
“I was surprised he [goalkeeper Adam Bogdan] saved the first effort and then I heard a few people asking for the ball to be pulled back, but I knew I was close so I just turned and hit it as hard as I could. I just tried to keep it on target and luckily it went into the corner.
“For the second we had about four or five passes before it ricocheted and I was already making the run. It couldn't have landed any better for me, then I opened my body and put it into the far corner.
“All in all, it was a good day."
