No, it's not about Northampton but a request for a proper shoe repairer.

Does anyone know of any in Brighton? It's a profession that seems to have completely died out - there are the ubiquitous heel bars, but they're useless for fixing anything (the one I went to last month couldn't even fix a heel). There must be someone out there who can fix shoes

Blimey, are they still going? Couldn't remember the name but do recall taking shoes there back in the 70s. That's exactly the sort of place I'm looking for. Thanks
