Simon Rusk was pleased with the performance of his side after Brighton & Hove Albion’s under-18s beat Ipswich Town.

The Seagulls got back to winning ways following last week’s defeat to Sheffield United and Rusk feels his side are beginning to gel.
*
He told seagulls.co.uk “I thought we played out from the back well and we have looked like a team again in the last two or three games and managed to build some relationships on the pitch.

Connor Pring gave the Seagulls the lead in the 20th minute after guiding Jason Davies’s ball into the bottom corner, before Jack Rowe-Hurst doubled their advantage just past the hour mark with a superb free-kick.
*
The Tractor Boys hit back in the 80th minute thanks to a curling effort from Andre Dozzell, but Rowe-Hurst secured the three points with another clinical finish just two minutes later to give Albion all three points.
