Brighton & Hove Albion chief executive Paul Barber has tentatively hailed changes to the club's parking regulations at the Amex as successful after fans enjoyed a swifter getaway after Saturday's game against Reading - but warned Tuesday night will be a more challenging proposition.*
Barber has thanked fans for their cooperation and revealed many have written to the club - some emailing him personally - while others took to social media to comment on the new system, and the vast majority welcomed the new system.*
He said, "It was good to get such positive feedback to the changes we made to our car parks at the weekend. A number of fans emailed and tweeted the club on Saturday evening to report shorter delays and an easier journey home. This is good news.*
"The VIP and Bennett's Field car parks were opened 35 minutes after the final whistle and, thanks to the majority of buses, coaches and pedestrians already having left the stadium vicinity, the car parks were flowing freely 18 minutes earlier than usual."

Albion will have the system in place again for the match against QPR on Tuesday evening, and Barber has once again asked that fans to be patient and assured them the club's operations team will be working to ensure quick departure for all fans.*
"Midweek matches will be a tougher test for the new system as we know for more people travel by car; with work and school the next day many people want to leave sooner.*
"As ever, we will do our best to ensure things move as quickly as possible but, as with any stadium trying to clear up to 30,000 people in a short space of time, there is likely to be some delays.*
"I'd like to thank fans for their cooperation on Saturday and in anticipation of their patience on Tuesday."
