Tammy Waine says Albion women are determined to improve their league form when they host Coventry at Withdean today, kick-off 2pm.
The Seagulls were beaten 1-0 by Keynsham last Sunday, but the Albion skipper says the side will be raring to go against the Sky Blues. She told seagulls.co.uk, “Coventry are a very fast and athletic team, but I can’t emphasise enough how hard we’ve worked in training this week to ensure we get a result.
“We played them very early on in the season (drawing 1-1) and it proved to be a very tough test away from home and we’re expecting the same again.
“The Keynsham result was very disappointing; we picked up a few injuries and had to jig the team round a bit.

“We’ve got a massive week ahead, obviously sandwiched between the two Coventry games is the Final against Chichester and they’re flying high in their own league.
“Having three games in a week means changes will have to be made to the squad due to fatigue or knocks.
“It gives the manager a chance to think whether we need to change tactics or systems, so it is interesting to have two games against the same opposition so close together.”
