Albion women host Coventry this Sunday at Withdean, 2pm kick-off.
The two sides drew 1-1 in the reverse fixture back in September, and head coach John Donoghue hopes his side will produce a similar performance at the weekend.
He told seagulls.co.uk, “We know what Coventry bring; they beat Gillingham the other week and are a strong side with some lively players, but we can take confidence from the fact we competed really well against them in the last game.
“We were tenacious in the tackle, and got forward quickly as a team as well and hopefully we’ll approach the game in a similar manner this weekend and have a real determination to get the three points.”

LATEST NEWS FROM SEAGULLS.CO.UK

The Seagulls are about to enter a hectic week of fixtures with three games in the space of eight days, including the County Cup final against Chichester the following Thursday before facing the Sky Blues again in the FA Cup on Sunday week.
Donoghue added, “We’ll have to manage the situation game by game; to play Sunday, Thursday and then Sunday again is a tough schedule and I cannot believe I will go through the whole week without making changes to the squad.”
The head coach has a couple of injury concerns going into the game, as Charlotte Owen has been ruled out for a further three weeks after suffering a knee injury, while Cally Beaumont is expected to be out for another two weeks with an ankle injury.
Lucy Somes could be in contention for a return to the squad after missing last week’s defeat against Keynsham with a lower back complaint.
All Albion season-ticket holders and children under-16 will have free entry to the game, while the price for non-season-ticket holders is £2.
