I downloaded the android version to my tablet the other day but have now uninstalled it as it seemed to generate a lot of rouge pop up adverts and sky sports seemed to be showing porn every time I tried to use it - only one of these may have been the reason for uninstalling it!!

I know Apple are a bit more stringent about what goes on the App Store so maybe this version is OK?

Thanks for the info....I've downloaded.

But if only I knew what I had downloaded ? Being an Ancient Warrior and completely devoid of even a single grain of technology I've taken your advice in the hope I'll find a use for it

Silly question no doubt, but why would Apple have authorised it for the iTunes Store in the first place, if they're going to take it down?

Because they have a huge number of apps, and app revisions, to review and occasionally something slips through the net.

This app allows users to play their own video on their iOS device - what Apple missed was that it also opens up to allow people to view other people's streams (of copyrighted content). They will pull it - there is a history of similar apps going through the same cycle.

I click that link and all I get is 'view in iTunes store'
then it tells me to download iTunes, which I've already got?

I've opened iTunes and the app isn't there
