It was brought to my attention at the end of last week that someone was sleeping rough right up the top corner and has a tent there. Usually people move on within a day or two but the tent was still there yesterday.

Is this what you're referring to ?

Have the rough sleepers team at the council been informed?

Are there really that many people on nsc who don't know the Rookery?

Sadly yes. The guys in the tent rather surprised me and my lad out on a ramble on Sunday. A few schools are teaching the history of The Rookery at the mo , so a few more Dads and lads might rock up. The guys were very nice and chatty but looked to be bedding in for a long haul.

We've just had 2 brand new "rockery specific" signs put up at each entrance which carries some info on the history of the place. If anyone needs any info, let me know and i'll try to help.
