Quarter Finals Round Up

Quarter Final ONE
===
The Young Ones - 83 (44.86%)
Father Ted - 102 (55.14%)
===

Quarter Final TWO
===
Fawlty Towers - 112 (52.34%)
Only Fools & Horses - 102 (47.66%)
===

Quarter Final THREE
===
I'm Alan Partridge - 90 (51.72%)
The Office - 84 (48.28%)
===

Quarter Final FOUR
===
Blackadder - 80 (68.38%)
Porridge - 37 (31.62%)
===

Summary - Blackadder's progress was the only "easy" tie of the round, with the other 3 contested keenly. Fools and Horses' fans will be very disappointed that Del Boy and Rodders didn't make the final 4 at very least. Partridge fans may be concerned at the low voter turnout, however it is understandable that a matchup with The Office would see a big split, and even some abstaining down to an inability to decide. Father Ted snuck through in what was unarguably the weakest match up of the round to complete the 4.

Father Ted being in the semi is like Sheff Utd/Charlton reaching the FA Cup Semi, when The Office or Liverpool haven't!

It's all objective.

Might as well just give the title to the winner of SF2 though.

The Office going out ends my interest in the competition in the same way as an Albion cup exit.

There is always next year for Slough's finest.

SF2 is MASSIVE, I hope the Blackadderists didn't bother voting in the QF because it was a foregone conclusion and they arrive in their DROVES for this Wembley match-up.

With no office I am now have my codpiece firmly placed behind Blackadder.

It has to be said though, that didn't help the Honey Badger very much.

Will Blackadder rest Baldrick so he is fit for the next league game?

I think the cup is their main focus now so I'm fully expecting a strong team to be put out. I can see Team Partridge (The Pear Trees) resting Lynn and Michael for this one though, perhaps even drop Dan to the bench.

I think we all know that both Alan Partridge and Blackadder will be strong enough to ensure we don't get a FT DERBY in the final.

I am hoping that Father Ted puts up a decent fight against Partridge, but still maintain this competition is Blackadder's to lose.

FT v FT final - was always going to be, the greatest two comedies of all time.

They're certainly my favourite comedies. I think EVERY round has gone the way I would've wanted it to, whether I voted or not. I'm not sure if that means I have a good sense of humour or a very mainstream sense of humour?

The winner of Fawlty Towers/Blackadder will end up with the title.

AP is of a similar mould to the Honey Badger in a tournament like this, whereby you'll get people who will vote against it out of a mild form of spite.
