Gordon Greer believes the win at Millwall was significant but says every game until the end of the season is equally vital.
Albion’s play-off hopes received a boost with the 1-0 victory at the Den and the Scot told seagulls.co.uk, “It was an important three points although I didn’t feel we played that great over the course of the 90 minutes. But we got the win and in the end we should have scored a few more goals as we had some chances.
“It was backs-to-the-wall for the last 15-20 minutes but we coped really well and as I said, we should have probably had the game out of sight earlier.
“We worked really hard and it is a great three points but every three points is important and every game is massive between now and the end of the season. We have to try and win as many as we can.
“We are in a really good position; we are not far away and we still have to play a few of the teams around us. If we hit a bit of form then we will give it a good go."

Greer admitted the lack of cutting edge in front of goal can be trying but says the players are determined to improve that aspect to add to their defensive resilience.
“It is frustrating not to kill games off but the boys are all working really hard. It is not intentional that we don’t take chances but we are working hard on the training ground to get better.
“Credit to Millwall for their second-half performance, they came out and gave us a really hard few minutes.
“It is great [the defensive record] for us but it is not just the defence, it is the whole squad but sometimes it would be nicer to have an easier last few minutes and be three or four goals up!”*
