I was asked a question yesterday but didnt know the answer. hope someone can help.

What is the record for players to score in successive games for Brighton, Ulloa has scored in 5 and Defoe scored in 9, I think it was on loan to Bournemouth but what is Brightons record.

I think Bobby Zamora scored in 8 consecutive games

According to my ageing grey cells, I can still hear the song... "The club record he got, he scored ten on the trot, he's so good."

I think that was league games and he had a blank in the cup somewhere in the middle.

I was asked about consecutive competitive matches irrespective of the competition be it cup or league

Dougdeep is right.

I got it mixed up. He scored in 8 consecutive league matches and two FA cup ties.
