Saints midfielder called up to England U19's

Born and raised in Worthing.

I'd never heard of him until few moments ago but shame we didnt get him. Guess with the new academy this wouldnt hapen now.

Back when we were tinpot, Saints and Pompey used to have scouts all over West Sussex hoovering up the best players. Sign of the times, sadly.

Should help, but still isn't guaranteed. Wasn't Jonjo Shelvey the biggest transfer for an U16, from Charlton to Liverpool? Bigger / Elite clubs will always get first picks
