I have been thinking about a new chant for one of the players . Has anyone heard the one that swansea sing about Wilfred bony. I think that could work well but now sure what player to put in the gap where it would says come on......... come and score a goal for brighton.

Any thoughts and recommendations for the player to put in ???

In a pile of football shirts
Cum on feel the Noize ?

So you think I got an evil mind, well I'll tell you honey
And I don't know why
And I don't know why
So you think my singing's out of time, well it makes me money
And I don't know why
And I don't know why
Anymore
Oh no

So cum on feel the noize
Girls grab the boys
We get wild, wild, wild,
We get wild, wild, wild,
So cum on feel the noize
Girls grab the boys
We get wild, wild, wild,
At your door

So you say I got a funny face, I ain't got no worries
And I don't know why
And I don't know why
Say I'm a scruff bag well it's no disgrace, I ain't in no hurry
And I don't know why
I just don't know why
Anymore
Oh no

[Chorus]

So you think we have a lazy time, well you should know better
And I don't know why
I just don't know why
And you say I got a dirty mind, well I'm a mean go getter
And I don't know why
And I don't know why
Anymore
Oh no

Its perhaps easier for all if we just sign Wilfred Bony before attempting a song that does not end in ION

How about:

So come on Jesse Lingard
Show us what you're made of
Let's go wild wild wild
Let's go wild wild wild

It's a shame that every new chant these days has to come from adapting one already in use by another club. When was the last time a new chant caught on that wasn't already used by anyone else? It really isn't that hard, there are literally millions of tunes that could be used that aren't already. The problem is, the oh-so-cool brigade of bellend Brighton fans will immediately discount it as 'cringeworthy' or 'tinpot'. I'm convinced that's why the Amex atmosphere has slipped so much, because of our demographic of middle class and too-cool-for-school fans. Which is a real shame.

Jesse is the man in a Brighton shirt,
Leo is the man he plays off.
Jesse passed to Leo, who passed it back;
Jesse hit it in the roof of the net.

O bla di, o bla da, life goes on,
Whoooaaa,
Albion score again.

Kind of scans, but doesn't rhyme.

Still.... A start.

Edit: Sorry, Commander!
