Hoskins Injury

Is it normal for players to be treated elsewhere for recovery from an injury? I noted during Wills most recent injury he spent a lot of time at St Georges Park, and the other day gave them a big thanks for all their help with his return from injury and credited his goal for the DS to them (or to that affect.)

Is this normal? Or does this tie in to his home sick thing, with St Georges Park being Midlands based, so closer to Nottingham?

I know CMS spent most of his recovery time down here

Players get sent all over the place, depending on the injury.

We've sent players to surgeons & specialists in the USA & Germany before, I believe.

Ah OK. Was aware of surgeon and specialist type stuff, but longer term rehab just seemed slightly peculiar but I guess it makes sense!

The club will send them to the best place for them. Money pretty much no object.

Always remember in the 80's players being sent to Lillishall for their rehabilitation, I guess st George's is just the new modern upto date version.

Followed him down A23 this morning, presuming he owns a girlie white hard top BMW Z4 with the main clue being the number plate "W HOSK5NS".

Cant believe players want to be identified in that way, particularly in a car like that!

I remember them shipping Elphick out to have his limbs replaced in a cold country, Sweden or Finland or one of those snow places. That's as much as I recall. It might not have been Elphick though.

Or it may have been a holiday.

So, to recap: someone, went to one of those snow places, for something.

He's obviously hit hard times as he used to drive a Porsche.

I believe that adds up to one character too many. ( 7 max. not 8)
