Ask Harriet Harman and Liberty,... they seemed to have a vested interest at some point historically.

Oh do keep up, it doesn't!!

"The Paedophile Information Exchange (PIE) was a UK pro-paedophile activist group, founded in October 1974 and officially disbanded in 1984.In January 2006, the Metropolitan Police Service Paedophile Unit finally arrested the last of its members on child pornography charges, with its then leader David Joy warned by his sentencing judge that his beliefs may preclude his ever being released from jail."

I believe that is the story from the Daily Mail, that journal that supported the Nazis and, ergo, the holocaust, assuming you follow the same line of thinking that they are suggesting in respect of this story. Let's not forget, as far as I am aware, the paper has never apologised for that support back in the 30s!!!!!

Oh right, apologies. On the radio show I was listening to earlier they were talking in the present tense. Apologies for ruining your day Chimneys, hope you get over this gross intrusion on your "life".

Fair play I'm chilled, but wouldn't be if PIE did exist today!

The organisation has been dead for 30 years and if Harriet Harman had just apologised this issue would be dying a death. Her lack of apology or condemnation of the NCCL ever having any truck with P.I.E. has brought her judgement into question. The NCCL successor organisation 'Liberty' has already apologised. Now it's Daily Mail vs. New Labour with the Ed Miliband's dad stuff sure to be raked up again.

I saw Newsnight and the girl quizzing Harman was relentless, sensing this was her moment to make a name for herself. Harman has made yet another balls-up, the woman is so PC-sensitive she's forgotten how to condemn a group of people who should be roundly condemned.

By the by, I see P.I.E. was formed in 1974. All the Daily Mail have to do now is find a Jimmy Savile connection and it's tabloid heaven.

From that, I assume that PIE supported Paedophiles. And you're saying that by the same logic, anyone that supported the Nazis in the 30s, also supported the holocaust ???

I'd go along with that supposition

I see you have changed your post! For the record, I wasn't suggesting you were a nazi or a supporter, I was just saying that if you (or anyone) follows the associations implied by the DM about HH and paedophilia then it could be applied about the DM and their support of the Nazis in the 30s and therefore imply they supported Nazi policies, eg The final solution!!!

Apologies if it didn't quite read like that.

.......or is it simply that the target has Labour associations, if it was a politician of the 'blue team' would you have the same enthusiasm to doubt the message or the messenger?
