Albion women progressed into the Sussex Challenge Cup final for a third consecutive season following a mammoth victory over Worthing Town.
John Donoghue’s side will now face Chichester in the county’s showpiece match on 13th March at Culver Road.
The Seagulls took just two minutes to break the deadlock, when Kim Whitcombe’s corner eluded the entire Town defence and went into the net by the aid of a deflection.
Rosie Kmita then scored the first of her five goals, sending a looping shot over Town keeper Chelsie Collins, and then netted Albion’s third with a terrific strike.
Whitcombe then tapped home from inside the area after Collins parried away a long-range effort, before Kmita completed her hat-trick by heading home from Charley Boswell’s cross.
Boswell then put her name on the scoresheet by scoring Albion’s sixth in the 19th minute, with a cool finish past Collins.
Whitcombe struck again with another set-piece for Albion’s seventh, as another corner beat the Town backline.
Rebecca Merritt scored the first of her four goals for Albion’s eighth, prodding home from close range after a cross from Paula Howells.
The former West Ham forward then scored the final goal of the first half with a header past the Town shot-stopper from Charlie Carter’s initial cross.
Albion took their total into double figures just four minutes after the re-start, as Kmita confidently dispatched Tammy Waine’s ball into the box.
Kmita completed her impressive scoring haul six minutes later, meeting Amy Green’s pass with another lethal finish past Collins.
Merritt was on hand for Albion’s 12th goal, slotting home the rebound after Kmita’s original effort cannoned off the crossbar.
Twelve soon became 13 just three minutes later, when Whitcombe drilled her shot past Collins from distance.
Skipper Waine then got herself in on the act with a close-range finish past Collins, before Merritt netted again with a strike at the near post.
Green scored her first senior goal for the club with a composed finish with six minutes of normal time remaining.
Town defender Kirsty McCoubrey concluded the scoring in the 88th minute by diverting the ball past her own keeper after attempting to clear a Howells ball across the box.
Albion: Sole (GK); Carter, Waine, Thomspon-Agbro, Poole (Capon 45); Boswell (Simmonds 77), Green, Howells; Whitcombe, Merritt, Rosie Kmita. Subs not used: Barton, Somes.
