Subject to the fact we are not at Wembley that day for the semi-finals, travel to and from the Charlton match could be very difficult as a rail replacement bus service is running that weekend from Hastings to Lewes, especially as it is a fixture with a London club so there will be a lot of fans travelling.

Copied below is the actual notice from the Southern Railway site:-

Buses replace trains between Lewes and Eastbourne / Hastings from 22:00 Friday 11 until 04:00 Monday 14 April 2013

Engineering work is taking place between Glynde and Eastbourne / Hastings closing all lines.
Buses replace trains between Lewes and Eastbourne / Hastings.

Why drive to uckfield ??
Please explain how this helps to get to the Amex by train ??

Slightly better news for Saturday for those from the East. The following is taken from the Southern Railway website:-

"Engineering work is taking place between Glynde and Eastbourne / Hastings closing all lines.
On Saturday until 20:00, buses replace trains between Eastbourne and Hastings.
From 20:00, buses replace trains between Lewes and Hastings. Journey times will be extended by up to 60 minutes.
On Sunday buses replace trains between Lewes and Ashford International. Journey times will be extended by up to 90 minutes."
