Oscar is looking for his side to be more clinical in front of goal

Taking our chances has been a problem that we have been working on since the start of the season"
Oscar Garcia
Albion boss Oscar Garcia was once again left to bemoan his side's cutting edge, after they couldn't convert yet another dominant home display into three points - and suffered their first home defeat of 2014.*
He told seagulls.co.uk, "We were unfortunate to lose. When you have 65 per cent of possession and more than twenty chances, and the opposition only have five or six chances then you fully deserve to win – but they took two of their chances and we only took one of ours.
"Taking our chances has been a problem that we have been working on since the start of the season.*
"It is difficult because only Leo seems to be accurate in front of goal and this is a thing that we have to improve, and we are trying to do this in training. I hope over the next few games we can change this."
Wigan showed the type of finishing Oscar wants, taking their only two clear-cut chances of the game.*
Albion's head coach added, "We made only two mistakes and they punished us – one of which was from a set piece.*
"It is difficult to keep a team like Wigan quiet but we did for long periods. They came here to sit back and defend and it was those two mistakes that cost us the game.
"I was pleased with the performance of the players and the character that we showed in the game when we were two goals behind.*
"We were the better side and maybe we were the only side trying to play football today but the result wasn’t good for us."
Oscar and his team now have only one day to prepare for Monday night's FA Cup replay with Hull City at the KC Stadium.
The team will train tomorrow before jetting north, and Oscar will have to wait and see if Solly March can shake off the injury, which ruled him out of today's game, and join the squad on the evening flight to Hull.*
"It is difficult to rest players with only one day before we have to travel. It is a long way for us but we will try our best and go there to have a go."
