Despite the scoreline, Albion were playaing some super stuff - and the crowd were getting behind them.

3:39pm
Wigan had not offered much apart from the goal!
But they were close to a carbon copy when Waghorn curled left footed past the top corner.
Then Bruno delivered a superb cross which Wigan scrambed away for a corner.
When that was cleared, Bruno worked a clever one-two with David Lopez and drove the ball in low from the byline but there was no home player to get a touch.

3:33pm
David Lopez was looking full of confidence and ideas.
He angled a pass into the path of Ulloa from the right touchline but the striker's control let hom down and Wigan shielded the ball back to Al Habsi.

3:29pm
Albion almost levelled quickly but Stpehens hit the underside of the bar running on to Ward's low cross.

3:25pm
Rodriguez showed good pace as he turned away from a defender and got in a low cross to the near post, but Greer - still up in the goalmouth following a corner -*shot straight at Al Habsi.
Albion were on top - but they were on for a shock.
Wigan launched a counter attack and supplied McARTHUR to cut inside and curl a terrific finish across Kuszczak.

3:20pm
Then Albion worked a nice move down the left which brought back memories of the winning goal against Doncaster as Ward hung up a cross from near the corner flag. This time Stephens, rather than Ulloa,*meet it with a header which glanced wide.
As the hosts continued to press, Ince's run behind the defence was found but his cutback failed to pick out a team mate.

3:12pm
Then Albion stitched together a lovely move which saw David Lopez pick out Ulloa with a chipped, angled apss. The striker controlled on his chest and let fly with a low right foot volley which Al Habsi held well diving towards his right hand post.

3:08pm
David Lopez replied with a lovely little pass which got Stephens breaking forward to the right of goal - but his low cross could not quite pick out the run of David Rodriguez.

3:06pm
Updates will also be a little shorter than*I would like to offer you but let's hope for a return to normal soon.
Wigan were attacking the North Stand and offered immediate threat as McClean got past the stumbling Bruno and crossed low. But Albion cleared for a corner which was dealt with capably.

2:56pm
Here we go.
Eighth v seventh
No tweets I'm afraid due to ongoing software issues but I'll keep you informed on what should be an interesting tussle at the Amex.*
