I’m sure Worthing will be up for the game and make it a good contest."
John Donoghue
Albion take on Worthing Town in the Sussex Challenge Cup semi-final on Sunday at Withdean, 1:30pm kick-off.The Seagulls will be looking to bounce back from Wednesday’s 3-0 league defeat to Portsmouth by securing a place in the final for a third consecutive season.
Head coach John Donoghue told seagulls.co.uk, “Worthing will offer us a different test; we will have to rotate the squad as a few of the players have played two lots of 90 minutes in four days.
“The match will be important for us, as it’s a chance to reach a cup final and play for some silverware, but I’m sure Worthing will be up for the game and make it a good contest.”
Charley Boswell and Rosie Kmita are expected to return to the squad following groin and thigh injuries respectively.
But Kirsty Barton (shin) and Toni-Anne Wayne (neck) have been ruled out, while Charlotte Owen will be rested.
The game kicks-off at 1:30pm and there is free entry for all season-ticket holders and children under-16, while admission for non-season-ticket holders is £2.
