Leading online jobs board*CoastalWestSussexJobs.com*has been chosen to promote forthcoming job opportunities at Brighton & Hove Albion’s stunning new training ground.
The club has become a founding partner of*CoastalWestSussexJobs.com, part of the*LoveLocalJobs.com*family of job boards which is already the recruitment partner for the Amex Community Stadium.
Several new jobs, including ground staff, will be created at the state-of-the-art training camp and academy in Lancing, West Sussex, and club bosses decided CoastalWestSussexJobs.com would be the perfect platform to invite applications.
Gary Peters, founder of LoveLocalJobs.com, said, “Becoming the official recruitment partner for the training ground and academy is a great way to extend our original relationship with the club as former shirt sponsor.
“But more importantly, this new partnership will ensure the superb employment opportunities generated at the club will be properly promoted to the local community, which in turn will advance the economic benefits of the scheme to local communities.
“It’s a fabulous project which will have a positive impact and provide a stunning place to work, so I would encourage anyone interested in possible job openings to visit*CoastalWestSussexJobs.com.”
Work on the training ground, 20 minutes from the Amex at New Monks Farm, is on schedule to open this summer. When completed, the first-team facilities will include two match pitches, which are exact replicas of the Amex pitch using the same material, two further full-sized high quality soil-based pitches, a three quarter-sized pitch, plus training grids, goalkeeper areas, running track and a rehab zone.
On the academy side, there are further full-sized pitches, two of which are synthetic, a three-quarter-sized pitch and a half-sized pitch. There is also a half-sized indoor pitch, running hill and futsal court.
In addition, there will be a fully operational gym for the players, medical areas, player relaxation areas for the first team and academy and administration facilities for the manager and his coaches, assistants and analysts, together with the football operations and media teams.
Rose Read, head of HR from Brighton & Hove Albion, said, “As a club we are passionate about improving the lives of local people both via our community activities and by creating exciting employment opportunities.
“The training ground promises to be one of the most unique and inspiring places to work in Sussex and as far as possible we would like to ensure that our vacancies are well-publicised in the local area and that local residents have the opportunity to apply.
“We value the fantastic partnership we have with the LoveLocalJobs.com family and we will be working closely with CoastalWestSussexJobs.com to promote vacancies in the coming weeks and months.”
