Nuffield Health Brighton Hospital became the club’s official healthcare partner

Brighton & Hove Albion today announced Nuffield Health Brighton Hospital as the club’s official healthcare partner.*

The deal will see the healthcare charity and provider offer special incentives for the club’s supporters and 1901 club members and work with Albion in the Community, the club’s charity arm, to deliver staff support on their local health and education initiatives.

The partnership is initially for 18-months but with a view to a longer-term agreement.

Simon Williams, Brighton & Hove Albion’s Head of Commercial Development, told seagulls.co.uk,*“This continues our strategy of working alongside big national brands with a strong local and regional identity and we are sure that our supporters and corporate members will see the benefit of this partnership.”

Representatives from Nuffield Health, who run 31 private hospitals across the UK, including the recently refurbished Nuffield Health Brighton Hospital in Woodingdean, made the short trip to the Amex to formally announce the partnership.

Geoff Bailey, Director of Nuffield Health Brighton Hospital added: “Nuffield Health Brighton Hospital are delighted to be working with the Albion as their Official Health Care Partner. We are also looking forward to working with AITC supporting them in promoting health education in our community which we have been a part of for 35 years.”

AITC’s Chief Executive Michael Edwards said: “Being able to utilise the expertise and knowledge of Nuffield Health Brighton Hospital’s employees will be of huge benefit to the health and education programmes we run in the city and across Sussex. We hope this will be the start of a long and fruitful partnership.”
