Very random, but if you are wearing a formal shirt, do you wear a white T-shirt under it? I don’t, and when I see others I think it looks strange and spoils the look of the shirt.
Or do you wear a vest?

It was all getting too much for me this morning, so had to ask. ???

Sorry you have to go commando under a formal shirt, any form of undergarment looks cock!

If it's cold in the office then yes, I'd rather go without but given the option of looking good or feeling comfortable I know which one I value more!

A V-neck underneath is best, as it doesn't spoil the look.

I'd rather add a tank-top in a nippy office than have a t-shirt underneath.

A tank top? How very '70s. Or has the garment evolved sine the days of Frank Spencer?

I wouldn't personally, don't think it looks right.

I do sometimes – when it's cold, for example. Don't particularly care how it looks to others, to be honest...

Never.

Completely spoils the look of the shirt.

If you are cold, and the occasion permits, the addition of a decent jumper is acceptable.

Tee-shirt - no

Used to wear a t-shirt underneath when I first started office work but never do now. If it's cold I'll put a fleece or something over the top.

And don't forget to tuck it in.

Cheshire Cat

The most curious thing..
With a proper tie. None of this open neck tomfoolery.
