How can anyone feel sorry for Palace ???

Maybe feel sorry for proper football fans instead? We had about 1,300 going up there tonight, postponing a match 30 minutes before is inexcusable.

Although I'm sure you'll be pleased to here that Lukaku will be back for the re-arranged game probably, it stinks of convenience from an Everton perspective.

Inexcusable?!! Even when there is danger to supporters. You tool.

1,300 people averaging £50 for a return ticket to Liverpool and a lot of time wasted. That's £65,000 lost collectively, about a weeks wages for one of the players getting tonight off. Football really is a mugs game isn't it.

I said cancelling it 30 minutes before was inexcusable, they had all day to make a decision given the severity of the weather.

All our supporter coaches were only just past Stoke over an hour ago, it was blindingly obvious that the weather wasn't going to calm.

As I understand it. it's for safety reasons because of building damage, not because the pitch is unplayable. Surely it's better to postpone the game than some supporters getting killed or injured because the stadium is damaged?
I doubt that Everton would have predicted the exact time of the gust of wind that damaged their ground.

Edit it might not be the ground that's damaged, as the report says there are several roads around Goodison Park that are closed due to the high winds.
