Not sure if it has been said but a snippet in todays Mirror match report said the Qatari's here on a fact finding tour for the 2022 World Cup rate the AMEX better than Wembley & the Emirates stadium.

Imagine 15 years ago being told we would be playing in such a stadium.

So the Amex is regarded as the best stadium in England according to the 2022 world cup hosts? They obviously didn't sit behind the goals.

So the organizers think the Amex is better than wembley or the emirates? The 2022 WC is going to be a disaster....

They think the COMMUNITY aspect of the Amex is better than Wembley/Emirates - that is all.

The Emirates is by far and away the best stadium in the country though......probably why the Amex is loosely based on it.
