Copied from Waccoe so don't blame me if the stats are wrong but interesting graphic.

Below is a historic record of points totals needed to achieve certain targets (Champions, Playoffs, Survive Relegation etc) along with the current standings of each team this year. Doesn't show the full representation as some teams have played more than others.

Nice graph.

We're all still in a relegation scrap bar half a dozen teams.

Roughly 26 points should get us in the top 6 then ? 16 matches left so not unachievable but still relying on a couple of teams ahead of us blowing it

Really? All we need to do is get 2 points more than Reading to season end (and stay ahead of Ipswich etc). It's not like we've got a massive gap to bridge (we do if we're aiming for auto promotion though).

What's the highest points total for getting in the play off's? I reckon this season will be very near that. (am guessing between 76 and 80 by that graphic).

87 pts. You'd be disappointed with just a play off place with that amount when the average for 2nd is only 82!

How many points did Huddersfield get and miss out behind us and saints?
Also how many points did saints get that season?
I know it was league 1 but must be close to those records.

Reading away to QPR this weekend if they lose that and we can then win our game in hand and then beat them at home (all plausible) we will be 5 points clear of them

Its interesting that there are only 14 points between possible relegation and a play off spot, that less than 5 wins in 46 games
