Group B

Fawlty Towers

Highly revered, exceptionally well-written sitcom. Some tip it for the ultimate prize. Shouldn't have any problems with this group.


Black Books

Likely to share a number of fans with Spaced, due to a similar cast and slightly surreal feel (at times). Would hope to nestle into 2nd place.


Green Wing

Channel 4 medical based sitcom. About as much as I can tell you, as haven't watched it.


Lead Balloon

Subtle and well acted, if not laugh out loud comedy. Would be delighted to get through.​

I like all of these options.
None should be chosen in front of mantis shrimp-like Fawlty Towers, but i'm going to choose Green Wing if only because of the op's lack of knowledge. Green Wing was made by the same team, I believe that made Big Train.
I really enjoyed watching Black Books, but it is probably not for everyone!
Lead Balloon is just Jack Dee being Jack Dee, which is funny, but not funny enough to get through this group.

Correct, although compared to the other three it is the only one that deserves to be in the competition. This is a weak group. I've gone for Lead Balloon but am aware it has no chance.
