We were together for a long time as a group and it’s good to have a period of time like this together"

Oscar Garcia welcomes Saturday’s match against Doncaster Rovers following Albion’s recent run of away fixtures.
Oscar's full press conference on Seagulls Player
Culminating in last week’s trip to Watford, Albion’s travels began with a trip to Derby before further ventures to Burnley and Port Vale, and the Albion head coach admits he is looking forward to the upcoming run of home games, beginning with Rovers tomorrow.
*
He told seagulls.co.uk,“It’s nice to play at home again, in front of our own fans, and we want to play at home because we are comfortable here.
*
“I would prefer to play one or two games away and then play at home, rather than three or four away but you have to see the positives.
*
“We were together for a long time as a group and it’s good to have a period of time like this together.
*
“Sometimes it is good to have to change preparations, so it’s nice to play home and away.
*
“As always the fans are important and I would like to thank them for their great travelling support during the last four games.”

Albion won the clash at the Keepmoat Stadium earlier this season
Oscar also spoke of the need for his side to perform well if they are to secure the three points tomorrow, despite the recurrent theme of visiting teams' defensive tactics.
*
“This is one of the things we have to improve – to be better against these teams. The biggest problem is that if we don’t score they can sit back and defend.
*
“But, if we score in the first 15 minutes then they have to play differently and I expect it [the game against [Doncaster] to be a tough game because they, like all teams, are playing for something.
*
“They’ve signed a good player in Billy Sharp and he will help them, but they are physical and strong team so it will be difficult.
*
“We have to be focused and start well and, with the support of the fans, we are confident we can pick up the three points.”
*
Oscar also had words of encouragement for his new signings Dale Stephens and David Rodriguez, both of who made their debuts last weekend.
*
“They came in during the last days of the transfer window so it’s not easy, especially for David as he doesn’t speak English, but they are settling in really well.”
