why does Leeds corporate workings have so many twisting turns and subplots. why on earth is there a debt to the shirt sponsor? why does the owner of sponsor support the club but want to screw in order to take over ??? bizarre

Possibly justifying to get their money ASAP under fear of them going into administration!

Never ends for Leeds does it, or in fact any other club that has had financial troubles over the last few years.
People saying that our club lacks ambition by not overspending, here is another reason why we shouldn't.

How many more examples do we need?

To put that in context, Leeds are quoted as losing 1 million a month (12 million a year) and are in serious trouble, yet for some, we lose 8 million a year and somehow lack ambition ?

Yes, clearly Leeds are 33% more ambitious than us.

Leeds United do not own Elland Road or their training ground, I think this causes a lot of their difficulties.

Absolutely crazy. Rather we stay as we are being sensible with our signings, being sensible with the money and building a solid base and having a steady stream of players coming through our own system.

Owners cannot go on running clubs the way they are. Debt never goes away, but owners eventually do. Who is going to be the next big casualty?

So what happens if this goes through - do leeds essentially not exist on the footballing calendar anymore? And what is the likelihood of this actually happening... surely another investor will step in

There is no way that this will happen. Not to such a MASSIVE club as Leeds United.
If it did, the whole football world would fall apart.

Their problem is not trying to find a potential investor but rather there are two competing groups wanting to buy Leeds!

The winding up order is just an attempt to force things by one of the prospective buyers - highly likely matters will be sorted long before the hearing date.

One advantage would be that we lost to them, so other teams would lose 3 points. It won't happen though - Leeds are too big to disappear.

I get the feeling that there will be no Enterprise Insurance policies taken out in Leeds in the forseeable future. A PR disaster for the shirt sponsors if you ask me.

Or we could screw over everyone we owe money to, then do it again and end up in the premier league?
