We're England right to sack KP

When people ask me why I, the Latin teacher, am over in the English wing, I tell them "We keep all the dead languages together for administrative purposes..."

In recent tests he hssnt shown that often enough.

He's in pretty good company then! He still has scored more runs than any other English batsmen in recent tests, so if it was a purely cricketing decision (which we all know it isn't), then the whole batting line-up would have to be dropped. He's been made a scapegoat because of how good he is when he's at his best, so when he isn't making the big scores, it's more noticeable than, say, when Michael Carberry or Joe Root don't because for them that's the norm.

Yep. He's South African born and raised and should never have been allowed to pull on an England shirt in the first place.

He is not the player to go forward with. We are short of talent and need to build a team ethic, with everybody contributing their all. A courageous decision but a right one.

Surely in a team that is short of talent, it makes sense to retain the player in it that possesses the most natural talent. Build a team of triers but no natural ability and you have the New Zealand cricket team and they are not challenging at the top of the test rankings.

England have somehow gone from the best team in the world to a laughing stock in the space of 6 months . The signs were there in New Zealand that something was wrong and the downward spiral has now reached epic proportions .

Englands answer to the problem ? Dump one of our best players .Mental , supposing the next coach wants him as part of the set up? . Crazy to dump him before announcing a new coach .
