The countdown has begun, the adrenaline is already pumping!By taking part in this 130 mile challenge you will be helping raise much needed funds for AITC whilst at the same time generating awareness of the charity and its fantastic work across Sussex.
We will be setting off from the American Express Community Stadium with some of the first team squad there to wave us off and who knows maybe one or two of them may join us on this historic event!

ITINERARY*
Day 1:
Leave the American Express Community Stadium and cycle the short distance to Newhaven harbour and board the 10.30am ferry to Dieppe. Breakfast on board. Leave Dieppe and pick up the former railway line just outside the town that is now called L’Avenue Vert. This traffic-free cycle route rolls gently for 37 miles to Forges-Les-Eaux and then on to our cycle-friendly hotel in the town of Gournay-en-Bray where we can relax and enjoy dinner together.

Day 2:

Today we follow quiet roads through rolling French countryside and National Parkland to the magnificent Palace of Versailles in the suburbs of Paris. After arriving at the Palace it’s a short walk or ride to our hotel where we join together for a celebratory meal and quite possibly some well-deserved champagne! Then the evening is yours to either explore the world-famous palace gardens with a 2-hour musical water and firework spectacular from 9pm (optional extra 20euros for admission to gardens) or to venture into the magic of a midsummer evening in Paris.
