I have several purchased apps on my iphone but I have just won a samsung galaxy 3!!
Do I need to purchase the apps again or is the fact I have previously purchased reconised?

Yeah gotta pay again mate as its different companies, youll find though that a lot of apps you paid for on apple will be free anyway on google, if not they are usually cheaper

What iphone do you have? Unless it's really old I wouldn't bother with the Samsung. I'd sell it and save the hassle. I have a galaxy s3 and can't wait to ditch it and get the iphone 6 later this year.
