Cardiff City update

BBC Radio Wales reports: "Cardiff City manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has confirmed three Cardiff players could be leaving the club today. Craig Conway is talking to Championship club Blackburn and Joe Mason is close to a move to Bolton Wanderers. Striker Andreas Cornelius is expected to complete his move back to FC Copenhagen later this afternoon."

We could have spent 1-2M (or whatever inflated price Cardiff were asking) on Joe Mason, or picked up Spanish Rodney on a free....

Is "Spanish Rodney" going to stick?

PS - if so, I love the collective lateral thinking which is part of being a Brighton/football fan.

1 million pound is pretty cheap for a young striker like Mason. I would have been delighted if we had signed him.

How can Bolton with their debt be signing a striker for a £1-2million? Very odd.

Ah, but Gartside stated that the 160 odd million debt was, quote: "Nothing he was bothered about". £1-2 million is therefore small change.

Gartside probably attended the Portsmouth School of Economics.

But it's owed to their owner. In a similar way our debt is owed to ours.

Has he come out and suggested no relegations from the Championship too?

However, unlike us and our debt, Bolton seem to think the only way to get out of debt is by making it bigger.

To be fair, pretty much every major central bank and developed economy seems to have taken this same view over the last few years, so he is not entirely alone.

We're £130 million in debt, what's the difference?

Thought TB had already turned £40 million into club shares and will continue too if he see that the best option.
