If he can hold the ball up as well as Barnes, be the first line of defence as well as Barnes and then score more often than Barnes that would be nice

On the tube u montage of his goals, accompanied by some spurious rock music he appears to be a skilful player with the knack of being in the right place at the right time. He could be a very good signing or just a journeyman looking to extend his career, but he does have experience of scoring goals.

Thought he was great today. Quick and made some intelligent runs which were not always seen. Got in behind their defence a couple of times and put in a couple of dangerous balls.

Fantastic footballer. Technically great, two footed, quick, hard working, intelligent (football-wise). Shame we didn't really get to see how good his shot is. But delighted with him on a free, surely will become a fans favourite?
