Spending time with team mates helps you grow as a team"
Bruno
Bruno says Albion’s five days away from Brighton over the back-to-back away fixtures at Port Vale and Burnley has helped increase the squad’s togetherness.*
The players spent three nights at St George’s Park and one night just outside Blackburn as they prepared for the two games - including a tough test at Turf Moor, where the Spaniard felt the Seagulls could have come away with more.
Bruno said, “We had a good few days away – not so much because of technical and tactical work we did - but because it is always good to spend time together as a squad, although of course we also miss our families.
“Spending time with team mates helps you grow as a team.
“Burnley are a good team who are in good form and always have good results at home; it was a difficult game because they pressurised us very well.
“But the truth is we had the two best chances of the match through Kazenga [LuaLua] and Andrea [Orlandi].
“In general terms a point isn’t bad but I think we deserved to win the match.”

The former Valencia man went on to credit Albion’s excellent defensive record to the work ethic of the whole team.
“We’ve got a good defensive record and that is what top teams are built on. The truth is the whole team is working really hard defensively.
“The back four, the defensive midfielders and the players further forward are making a lot of sacrifices to help out defensively.”
