Last year there a was lot of speculation that we were interested in signing the midfielder from Portsmouth. All gone quiet on this front. Read somewhere that we are looking at a list of potentially 20 players in different positions in this transfer window. Wondered if he was still in the frame. If the 20 players is true I find it hard to understand why everything has again gone to the wire where we could end up with nothing or panic buys. Next few days will be interesting.

There's been rumours of Peterborough going after him in this window so if we do want him we'd better get a move on.

They turned down our £10k bid last season , can see him going to Peterborough for around £25k.

There were rumours a few weeks ago that he'd be on his way, but nothing since.

The thing i think with these lists of players is that we're never guaranteed to even get 1 player, let alone 20 - there's going to be other clubs in for them, or like Grabban, wanting to stay where they are. We just need to be patient and see what develops.

They actually turned down £200k from Peterborough, last week.

Still unsure why we havent made a move yet - good player who at present would be a good back up and then a good first team player. Pompey would be incredibly reluctant to sell though, but should they be relegated to the Skrill Premier - a firesale would be on the cards.

He's out of contract in the summer, so he'll be leaving then, whatever league they're in.

I know , it was a piss take with Pompey hovering above the relegation spots that is what the true value should be #twats

Certainly worth keeping an eye on then, cant see him hanging around if he knows higher league clubs want him.
