Valentines Day, now is the time to plan with 4 home games coming up if you sense a bit of woman intervention and moaning.
Bring up the subject now and the lady will think that you are caring.
Make it known that you want to do something special for the occasion by giving her a special treat.
Now whilst she is wondering/happy/impressed that this special loving occasion has been on your mind so early......you get to see the games against Doncaster and Leeds with no problem, you can perhaps come home a bit later and in a worse state than normal, because you have acquired a few brownie points.
Now we come to the Hull match on the 15th, the day After Valentines Day most important to receive your Valentines present BEFORE spilling the beans on your special treat.
Then you reveal that you have managed to get her a ticket for the game against Hull the next day.
Now depending on the reaction.....a couple of things could still work to your advantage. Firstly (and i doubt it) the lady could be well chuffed with your thoughtful gift/suprise. If not then you must have a fall back for the ticket, a good mate (preferably not female) would ease the pain, washed down with a few beers, to help and also to dull the pain when you arrive home.
Now what of the Wigan game on the 22nd, maybe no worries on this one, you might be glad to get out of the way, or the lady may be glad to see you out of the way.
You then have a fortnight to get back on track with the away game at Millwall before the next home game. If needed you could take the lady out in London and take in the Millwall game at the same time.
