Your gut feeling? Will we be going into February with a stronger squad than we came into January with or will we fail to complete the deals that will help us continue our promotion push?

My gut feeling is it will all kick off tomorrow and we'll be bringing in quality to improve the squad rather than just players to make up the numbers. 3 out 4 in is my prediction.

Conway, Wickham (on loan) plus one other in. Bridcutt and Buckley out.

If it does end with a whimper, something has gone seriously wrong behind the scenes and I would have thought Burke's position would be in doubt.

Bang, or we are in serious trouble. Gotta be an explosion. Tony et al are NOT mugs.

Other. I have a feeling that neither Bridders or Buckers will move. We'll sign Conway, and maybe some League 1 striker who once slept on Nathan Jones' lounge floor. And that is all. On the whole I think that would be a positive as long as the Sunderland two can get their heads and hamstrings right for the rest of the season.

I reckon it will make a BAMF sound.
