Downloaded it (legally of course) and 90 minutes later it was deleted.

Dissappointed....love the old albums though!

Fair enough.

It's a very good album - their best in my opinion.

In my top 20 albums of 2013 - maybe nudging in to the top 10. I don't listen to it much now, though.

I'm impressed that Nile Rodgers gets away with pretty well the same guitar riff as Le Chic on so many records.

I just want to know if Daft Punk got anything to eat or drink at the Grammys or did they have to sit with their helmets on all night?

Fair enough.

It's a bit bland in places Uncle. You stick with the genius of Homework - a delicious piece of work, and while you're at it don't forget to buy Backstreet Boys - The Hits from scAmazon - if you don't love it I'll PayPal you the £1.26 it will have cost you.

It's a classic

I agree with this. And I think it is unfair to compare it with their past output as it is so different and next level. I still isten to the album from time to time and I think I will never tire of hearing Georgio by Moroder.

I'm currently listening to Homework; what a bloody brilliant album it is.

I've had a big think about this thread

To my mind RAM is the 3rd best Daft Punk album and a fairly distant third at that BUT I think the state of contemporary pop music is pretty much at an all time low so a good Daft Punk album like RAM looks like an all time great against the current competition when in reality, it's a solid 8/10 record.

Same goes for "The Next Day ." n'all.

Is that fair?

Nope...their previous albums would rate an 8, which are a mile ahead of RAM.
