Train from Worthing only 2 hrs journey, 1 change and £16 return if bought in advance. Anyone going from Worthing on the 11.42am?

Possibly. If I do it's likely to be the 0825, changing at Clapham. Allows for maximum pub time.

I was thinking the 1025 getting in to Watford Junction at about quarter to 1; allows time for lunch, a pint and enough time to soak up the atmosphere.

The atmosphere created by us, obviously

I remember on Watford's forum last season there was someone who said we were ridiculously quiet for away fans, but he was promptly shot down by someone who lived about a mile and a half from the ground who said he could hear us from his house
