I really like the way that they both stand on the touch line for the whole game. They discuss the game and Nathan takes notes. No histrionics, no petulance, no throwing the arms in the air just a no-nonsense dignified and professional aproach to the job, nice.

Very different to the previous regime.
Poyet - Tantrums. Gesturing to the crowd when he doesn't get the referees decision.
Tarricco - Sitting in the dugout sulking in his snood.

Very refreshing and positive regime on the touchline.

This is the comment following a win. Just wait until we lose then it will be 'they just stand on the touchline for the whole game. They discuss the game and Nathan takes notes, No histrionics, no petulance, no throwing the arms in the air - WHY DIDN'T THEY SPOT WHAT THE PROBLEM WAS AND DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT?'

We've been here before.

Good point, but it won't be me saying that.

I agree that they compliment each other very well. Both appear to have meaningful input. We are not a one man show now. Oscar delegates but he is clearly the boss. He does not have an ego to massage.

What did Tanno actually do?

Presumably he was the defensive coach. He had it sorted pretty quickly so didn't have to do much. either that or the Long Padded Coat insulation properties tester, seat comfort whilst laying horizontal tester. ( Note the seats were changed for Recaro seats in the summer, so his input must have worked. Incidentally, the black doesn't look as good as the blue and white did.) He was also responsible for writing the shopping list, or whatever coaches write in their notebooks. Gus couldn't because he had to do too much arm waving, and Charlie found it difficult. That's probably it!
