Watched the family play this game and wondered how the great metropolis of NSC would get on....
I was born in Liverpool...
Was in the Merchant Navy...
I had 2 No1 singles in the UK charts...
Sang the theme tune to a Childrens TV programme...
My time was the 50s to early 60s...

Correct Sir....the TV programme he sang the title tune to was 'Four Feather Falls.'

Born in London...Elephant and Castle...
First public show was in the 2i's coffee bar...
Recording contract with Decca...
One of the first to appear on the 6.5 Special...
Called up for National Service...
Became an evangelist...
His last recording was 2007...
Full marks to anyone who can honestly say they did not use Wikipedia for this...

My second cousin was Sergeant York ...a hero of the Great War.

Will it work with a sixties song? I'll give it a go

From a film of the era, starring a well know American actor, the title song was performed by one of the cast not known for their acting but still a celebrity today. The song was a no.1 in the States (which perhaps explains why Al Green did a cover of it) but only released in the UK as a "B" side. And the song is................
