The Exodus Continues: Goodwin Joins Torquay on One Month Loan

Barrel of Fun

Abort, retry, fail
Shamir Goodwin joins Torquay United on a one month loan. Gradually working his way up the league on his loan spells. It will be interesting to see how he does down in the English Riviera.

His loan spell should gives him an opportunity over six matches.

AFC W'bledon (a)
Northampton (h)
Oxford (a)
Burton (h)
Portsmouth (a)
Bury (h)

Has anyone seen much of him play? A promising young striker or destined to follow McPhee et al and bumble around the lower leagues?

I'd like to think the shambles of an official site might have something useful for learning about youth team/development members, but apparently not.

I haven't seen him play, but he had a very successful loan spell at Tonbridge Angels, and they wanted him to stay for longer (Albion wouldn't play ball, presumably because they wanted to see him at a higher level).

Hopefully a good loan move for him. Expect to see further loan moves for Dicksenson and Richards, maybe both to Crawley.

Cheshire Cat

The most curious thing..
But presumably not pacey or strong enough.

seen him plenty of times, like others have said, pace and strong on the ball, maybe his decision m aking has let him down, but he is young and this loan will only help with his development

Clearly too good for Tonbridge Angels but that doesn't mean he'll have much of a league career but might bounce around in L2 eventually. Would deffo take him over Barker but I never rated Barker and amazed went to Swindon! Skrill Prem at best Shirly for him.
