The 24-year-old forward, whose contract with Albion was due to expire this summer, agreed personal terms and passed a medical yesterday before completing the move this morning.*
Head coach Oscar Garcia said, "On behalf of the club, I'd like to thank Ash for his time with us. The majority of his time was before I arrived, but he has been a good servant to the club and we all wish him well for the future."

In his first full season he fired 20 goals in his first season to help the Seagulls clinch the League One Championship in 2011.
Barnes leaves having made found the net on 53 occasions in 170 appearances. *
