Not bad, all depends on the amount of £££s in as well.

And can we please spend enough of the cash to get Ince on 3+ year deal ???

His last competitive games were for Whitehawk. If he can't get into the Portsmouth team then how is this good?

Or is he highly rated because he got a single U19 cap for England?

Interesting if it happens insofar as the decision making process it hints at - Wallace wouldn't be an Oscar signing as we've been linked with him for the last few windows and well before Oscar was with us.

No they weren't. Played 23 games for Portsmouth last season, and 28 games this, so 51 games since his last for Whitehawk.

Scores goals from midfield too

Am I missing something? Why has he been loaned out to Whitehawk if he's Portsmouth's star player? And do we really need another midfielder, he doesn't look particularly 'defensive' either, looking at his stats.

Edit- Wikipedia's formatting fooled me.

Yes, you're missing the dates.

Perhaps we don't need a defensive midfielder, but one who can create chances?

Yeah, just seen that. Wiki tricked me

I agree to a certain extent but will all due respect will a 19 year old keep Orlandi and Agustein out of the side? I understand it's an investment for the future but I think a striker is much more of a pressing issue at the moment, especially if we're losing Barnes.

He's started 21 of Pompey's 24 league games this season, featured as sub in the other 3, scored 4, set up 1, and had 31 shots.

Last season he started 19 L1 games and scored 6.

I guess you have to remember that if we're losing Barnes, for much of his time he played as an attacking midfielder. There is no doubt Wallace is an exciting prospect - if you're good enough, you're old enough.
