Apart from Chelsea v Stoke, the others were predictable. Lower league opposition in the 4th round against Premier League clubs.

ITV's coverage of the Third Round, which produced some brilliant games and some great results, was absolutely awful so wasn't holding out any hope that they'd pick the right matches. Chelsea v Stoke is just taking the p*** though, surely?

Bournemouth / Burton v Liverpool
Stevenage v Everton
Sheff U v Norwich / Fulham

Not much wrong with seeing those ties. I always like seeing a Prem team away at a lower league club, thats what its all about.

And how refreshing it is NOT to have Man U vs ABSOLUTELY WHOEVER cluttering up the TV schedule. They've had every single FA Cup ie televised for about the past 12 years, so the fact they're already out of the way gives me an immense feeling of contentment and wellbeing.

how is Arsenal v Coventry - Interesting

The 'best footballing side in the country' against the plucky youngsters of Coventry, doing really well in their league under a bright young manager, despite a points deduction, and no home ground. Sounds like a reasonable story for the TV folk to play about with.

As to the others:

Bournemouth / Burton v Liverpool is interesting, especially if Burton get through.
Stevenage v Everton was a no-brainer.

Sheff U v Norwich / Fulham feels a bit dull, to be honest, probably because in my mind, despite their current position at the wrong end of league one, I think of Sheff Utd as a similar club to Norwich or Fulham, so it doesn't seem such a mis-match.

Chelsea v Stoke can piss right off.

same old story the fa choose arsenal and chelsea to be on tv

1. The FA dont choose the games - ITV and BT Sport do that.
2. What are the alternatives ? Wigan/Mk Dons vs Palace looks boring, as does Bolton vs Cardiff. Only surprising game left out is Southend vs Hull and possibly Man City vs Watford/Bristol City.

Our game is hardly a great prospect either, considering up until recently we were playing such teams regularly.

Well, its not the FA choosing the games, its the TV companies.

Anyway, the Chelsea one truly is shithouse, but what ties would you have selected instead of those two ?
