Nathan Jones was delighted with Albion’s result – and performance – as they made FA Cup progress.
The Seagulls were particularly dominant in the first half of their 1-0 third-round win at home to Reading.
Assistant head coach Jones said: “We are happy with the performance more than anything.
“I felt we were reasonably dominant in the first half.
“It was as fluent as we have been for a while and as dominant as we have been for a while.
“We created a number of chances, hit the bar, hit the post. It was pleasing, very pleasing.”
Jones confirmed Gordon Greer left the pitch as part of a pre-planned substitution.
The skipper, making his comeback from a calf injury suffered four weeks ago, was due to play an hour.
He eventually went off in the 66th minute.
The fourth round draw takes place at about 2pm tomorrow and Albion will be ball number 26.
